Finished size: 4-1\2” tall and will fit most plastic eggs.
Easy to make this little cover can make any treat extra special. It’s also a good way to use up all those left over yarns.

If you don’t want to use the candy filled egg, you can fill the chick with candy and then tie closed. The chick, when empty, makes a little puppet.

MATERIALS:
4 ply yarn in the color of your choice, H hook or hook to obtain gauge, small amounts of black and orange felt, one feather the sa color as your yarn, 1\8” wide ribbon to match your yarn, craft glue and a candy filled egg.
Gauge: 5 sts pattern = 1-1\2”, 4 rows pattern = 1”
FINISHED SIZE: 4-1\2” tall

With color of your choice and H hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
