Cut a 24” piece of ribbon and thread over and under sc in rnd 12.
With a hole punch, punch 2 eyes from black felt and glue on to chick. Cut a 1\4” sq from orange felt, fold in half, point to point, and glue to chick for its mouth. Cut the feather into thirds. Glue 2 of the pieces to the chick’s side for feathers. Trim the remaining piece and glue to top of the chick’s head. Place egg or candy inside, pull ribbon ends to close and tie.
