Mint Baby Afghan with Knit Look Boarder Crochet Pattern
MATERIALS: Made with seven 1 3\4 oz. balls Bernat Lollipop baby fingering yarn in Baby Green and size 1 hook.
FINISHED SIZE: 30” X 37”
GAUGE: 5 cl sts = 2”, 5 rows cl st = 2”, 6 sdc = 1”, 6 rows sdc = 1”
SPECIAL ST INSTRUCTIONS: To make a shallow double crochet or sdc. A double crochet st basically has 3 horizontal threads at the top and two vertical threads below that. A sdc is made by inserting your hook through those 2 vertical threads of previous row’s st, yo, pull through and continue with making a double crochet.
BODY:
ROW 1: With green yarn and size 1 hook ch-301, dc 6 th ch from hook, * ch-3, sk 2 ch, work a 4 dc cl next ch and placing 4 th dc into next ch, rep from * to last 2 ch, ch-3, work 4
