MATERIALS:
1-100 yd skein Lion Brand Thick & Quick chenille yarn Scarlet, small amount Red Heart Baby Clouds yarn in Cloud (white), Flesh colored felt, Black felt, Green felt, small amount of stuffing, needle and thread and size J hook or hook needed to obtain gauge and several colored permanent markers.
FINISHED SIZE: about 12” tall
Gauge: Chenille yarn: arm\leg 2” diameter, body 3 1\2” diameter Baby Clouds yarn: arm\leg 2 3\4” diameter, body 4” diameter.
About the yarn I used:
The Lion Brand Thick & Quick Chenille yarn is no longer available, but any #6 Super Bulky speciality yarns will make a good substitution, just make sure you get the exact gauge as stated in the pattern when you make a sample swatch. If your gauge is bigger than stated, go down one size in your hook. If your sample gauge is smaller than stated, go up one size in your hook.
