With yarn and H hook ch-4, sl st to form a ring.
RND 1: ch-1, work 12 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)
RND 2-3: (2 hdc next st, hdc next 2 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (16 sts)(20 sts)
RND 4: 2 hdc next st, hdc next st, (2 hdc next st, hdc next 2 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (27 sts)
RND 5-6: Rep rnd 2-3. (36 sts)(48 sts)
RND 8-12: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
ROW 13: Hdc next 25 sts, leave remaining sts unworked, ch-1, turn. (25 sts)
ROW 14: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
ROW 15: Hdc next 2 sts, (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) 11 times, hdc last st, ch-1, turn. (36 sts)
ROW 16-17: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn. At the end of row 17 fasten off.
