A couple of ozs of Red Heart 4 ply yarn in black, 1 skein Bernat boa yarn in Cardinal, J & H hooks or hook to obtain gauge.
FINISHED SIZE: Adult Small 8-1\2” long. [Medium 9-1\2”]{Large 10-1\2”}
GAUGE: 3 sc = 1”, 3 rows sc = 1”, 3 hdc = 1”, 2 rows hdc = 1”, 3 dc = 1”, 2 rows dc = 1”

About the yarn I used:
I used Bernat Boa yarn for this project but any #5 Bulky speciality yarns will make a good substitution, just make sure you get the exact gauge as stated in the pattern when you make a sample swatch. If your gauge is bigger than stated, go down one size in your hook. If your sample gauge is smaller than stated, go up one size in your hook.
